I'm amazed at how fast I got 1000 pageviews. I'm past the 2K hit mark now, and with only one page of deviations in my gallery. Wow. I guess I should say thanks to everyone.

Seeing as how quickly that went, I can't even make a "thanks everyone" deviation or something like that. Of course, I can't really draw any sexy skimpy crap - because that's what everyone draws as their thank you deviations - so whatever =P

Anyway, my birthday is coming in tbree weeks, and I'm going to switch computers. Woo. First off, it's gonna be a laptop. I hope this means I'll have more time to work on all the projects that never get off ground. I've got something big planned. Just hope it works.

It also will probably have more memory and a larger hard disk drive. And DVD recording. Yay.

I also might be one step closer of doing some work. For money. That's also good.

I also happen to have a cold. Dammit.

Cheers.

First off, thanks for all the suggestions on DS games, everyone. I'll be sure to try some of them out.

Out of a suggestion, I got the new Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. It has that feeling that reminds me of Super Mario RPG (guess it makes sense, it's Square after all), a game I have many childhood memories of (and that probably was a big motivator towards learning english). It also feels a bit like a Zelda game, except with more jumping.
And I'm just a sucker for "Lost Vikings" style gameplay (as in, switch between several characters at once and use each's unique abilities to progress).

I gotta admit, however, that the ally AI is laughably bad. You'll often see your teammates standing right next to a hostile enemy and attacking so sporadicaly you're wondering if they're begging to be killed. And they keep walking off platforms into pools of lava and botomless pits. Or how about when you give them a black mage robe and they spam magicites when all you need to kill the enemy is a few hits with your sword?
Don't let that be a downer though; get it. It's a good game. I just wish the multiplayer would be online instead of that "Mog trader" crap.

In other news, I'm this strange mood. I really want to draw a good picture, but I seem to be completely out of subjects. I want something original for once, seeing as my gallery is, once again, falling into fanart-only territory; I guess what I need to do is work on my original characters a bit more. But even so, creativity seems to be a bit lacking...

Then a thought occured to me: art trades. I would love to see people draw my characters, and drawing other's characters would be interesting as well. I still need to think some things over, though. I don't even seem to have enough pictures of original characters here for people to use as reference XD
For shame. Still, speak up if you like the idea.

Cheers.

Here, it's easy; suggest me a DS game to get.

Keep in mind I've tried most of the mainstream stuff - Mario Kart, Metroid, Pokémon, Tetris, Elite Beat Agents, Phoenix Wright/Apollo Justice, Big Brain Academy, WarioWare, Zelda, New Super Mario Bros. and Sonic Rush to name a few.

As for what kind of game I like: don't bother with racing or any other sport (unless it's something wacky like a Mario game), and franchise-based games (stuff like movies, television and crap). Don't even try any of those Nintendogs ripoffs either.

I'm craving a good action/adventure title, or a fun RPG. But I'm also a sucker for puzzlers.

You can go ahead and suggest GBA titles as well if you want.

EDIT:
I'm glad someone out there wrote something to clarify it.

According to this, it's actually a sane thing that makes complete sense. Although who wouldn't argue that this isn't one of the "evil corporations" speaking? :XD:

Hmm.

Personally, I'm very confused. Some people are making a huge fuss out of it, because apparently a corporation could easily claim they couldn't find you by looking in private registries. Others say that you'll be fine if your image is being hosted on a site that contains information such as your e-mail. (although what prevents someone from reuploading the picture somewhere else, therefore making someone who finds it on a Google search unable to contact the original author?)

Really, I see how a law like this would benefit people when it comes to works that are really old. Then why not make it so it ONLY apllies to works that are at least of a certain age?

Regardless, I think we're currently in a "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" situation with the current law. I don't see why change it, so I signed the petition. It has surprisingly few signatures so far, and that's pretty bad.

Wow, deviantART

Interesting idea for April Fool's day, changing everyone to the same avatar... but you guys are a bit LATE here.

Maybe last year, this would have been funny, but now we've reached the point where we want to punch every Mudkip we see in the face. At least I do, I never found that stupid meme funny in the first place.

At least it'll be back to normal tomorrow, I guess. :X
